Technical Meeting on Hormonal Contraception (HC) in MPTs

Through two previous convenings on HC in MPTs, the IMPT has identified a number of challenges critical to advancing work on combining HC with antiretrovirals (ARVs) in MPTs and issued recommendations on next steps for this field of research. This meeting focused on operationalizing these recommendations, and brought together researchers engaged in clinical trials, MPT developers, and other IMPT stakeholders, with the aim of outlining potential strategies and challenges to address the identified priorities and ensure maximum impact of a contraceptive MPTs.
