This webinar in the “Let’s Talk MPTs” discussion series featured speakers Daniel Johnston (NIH/NICHD), Diana Torgersen (Organon) and Jenny Yip (Adjuvant Capital), as well as Ben Light (UNFPA) as a discussant.
The webinar aimed to kick start a discussion around the diverse potential funding and investment opportunities and considerations needed to help advance the MPT field, from industry, investment funds, to government and multilaterals. Without adequate investment opportunities to hand off products between different stages of the product life cycle, for example from NIH to an investor or industry partner, promising products risk never reaching the hands of end-users. Representing funders, investors, and purchasers, this webinar provided a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the source about what MPT product developers and other stakeholders should keep in mind to advance this field.
