Organizational Capacity

Our skill-sets stem from our success building and leading learning networks to address complex global health problems. We foster collaborations, manage knowledge, and set priorities for action to advance progress in women’s health fields. More specifically, we have expertise in the following activities:

Project management:

  • Planning and facilitating technical meetings, including rapporteuring
  • Planning and facilitating live webinars
  • Development and maintenance of online resource hubs and databases
  • Implementation of appropriate communications strategies for technical projects, including social media activity, blogging, infographics, and developing technical briefs and other collateral
  • Process management, including activity development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (M&E)

Research capacity:

  • Landscape assessments, including reviews of literature and key informant interviews
  • Field-wide gap analyses
  • Database development and implementation, including surveillance of key indicators
  • Survey design and implementation
  • Qualitative data collection
  • Digital storytelling
  • Development and dissemination of peer-reviewed publications

Education and advocacy capacity:

  • Development and dissemination of talking points, presentations, and other collateral for key partners
  • Network building and cultivation
  • Strategic outreach through domestic and international media outlets, radio, and briefings
  • Development and management of awareness-raising campaigns (e.g. ‘With an MPT I can’)

The IMPT is the first & only initiative dedicated to advancing the field of multipurpose prevention technologies (MPTs), products that combine HIV prevention, other STI prevention, and contraception.
